Are Car Clubs The Answer To Motoring Expense?

There is no question that we love our cars. We clean them, we enjoy driving them. It’s all about the pleasures of the open road; but there’s a catch. We also have to fuel them, service them, repair them and generally pay for the right to use them. This is a costly business especially if we use them rarely and choose instead to rent them which is when car hire excess insurance may be appropriate. Drive Safe: Stay Awake

Sorry to sound like your know-it-all Uncle (unless I am your know-it-all Uncle) but when out in my car I like to drive safe. On the day of writing this I was out early in the morning and witnessed three examples of bad driving within the first couple of miles. Ford Mustang Sallies Forth In The UK

Do you see what I did there? Mustang? Sally? Fair enough; please yourselves. Just as I did in fact when I spent a day with this most iconic example of American Muscle courtesy of Ford UK. The legend of the Ford Mustang need not be repeated here except to say that this is the ‘pony’ car that British drivers have long lusted after, but unless they were prepared to import a left-hooker from the States could do no more than yearn hopelessly.
