Many will remember the halcyon days of rallying when Colin McRae monstered the World Rally Championship in the forerunner of the Scooby featured here. Range Rover Evoque – Combining Style & Substance

The latest, recently refreshed Range Rover Evoque – seen here in HSE Dynamic Lux trim – is now equipped with the brand’s four-cylinder ‘Ingenium’ engine and is all the better for it. Sexily styled in Firenze Red paint and black 20” alloys the Evoque shows once again that there is substance behind the style. Mrs DriveWrite bonded with it very quickly and required and charged me to, basically, nick it. As you can imagine I was shocked and swiftly counselled against such an action but she is not wrong. The End Of Motor Racing?

In a major cycle race, many crashes occur towards the end, especially if teams are building up for a mass high-speed sprint. The effects of a multi-rider pile-up are often catastrophic and injuries can be severe. For this reason individual timings are ‘neutralised’ in the last three kilometres so that involved riders will get the same time as the majority of finishers, a time they would otherwise have achieved.
