On Saturday 17th October it seemed like every fast Audi in the UK had descended upon the Castle CombeCircuit in glorious Wiltshire. They were there to celebrate the ever-growing Audi Driver International event organised by Autometrix, publishers of Audi Driver and Volkswagen Driver magazines. This event is held annually and getting bigger every year with interesting stands, displays and the mighty presence of Audi themselves who brought along some of their latest cars, including the RS3 DriveWrite reviewed yesterday (here) and in which fast laps of the circuit were offered.
This great day out isn’t just for Audi owners though; Volkswagens were there in numbers and spectators are welcome whatever car they are driving. Although the weather was dull and overcast the rain held off for once thank goodness. Here’s some images of the day. Maybe we’ll see you there in 2016:
Imagine yourself howling down the Mulsanne Straight.
Early days and still hugely desirable.
