Alfa Romeo Giulia: Classic Name Back In The Game

It may not have escaped your notice that DriveWrite has previously owned not one but two Alfa Romeo cars. Previously on these pages you will have read about them. In both cases they were fabulous to behold and glorious to drive but sadly, badly, flawed. I won’t labour the point because the evidence of universal ownership issues is widely known. Now there’s the new compact executive, the Alfa Romeo Giulia. Continue reading

Exciting New Bi-Turbo Touring From Alpina

In a world …of squat, bland crossovers a big tourer stands out like a sleek athlete in a burger bar. It certainly seems clear to me that my preference and fondness for big, fast estate cars shows no sign of abating. Good. Let’s hope it stays that way and that Alpina continue doing their good works for the benefit of motoring mankind. Continue reading

The testing is to take place in Coventry within the city itself. This may sound alarming but the testing will have a human driver present and the experiments are mostly to see how well the vehicles ‘talk’ to each other. Therefore there isn’t a huge amount of risk of out of control machines causing chaos! Continue reading

Peugeot 308 SW Has Space To Spare

Car reviews are only ever one person’s opinion. What suits one jaded journo may not suit another. By and large though the Peugeot 308 SW with its vast boot has garnered praise across the board without generating a whole lot of excitement. That’s how I think of it too. If it were food the car would be a cheese sandwich or a fruit bun; no real taste sensations yet they deliver a feeling of being satisfied. That’s the thing about the 308 Station Wagon, it delivers on comfort, economy and space and is the ideal vehicle for getting the job done without fuss. Ah, I seem to have reached a conclusion at the beginning; never mind, let’s press on with…. Continue reading

You Can Save Money By Making Your Car Feel New Again

There comes a point in car ownership where you consider buying a new set of wheels. This happens when your existing vehicle feels old, and you think you need a serious refresh. Naturally, buying a car can be stressful, and it may also be very costly too. Especially if you want a brand new car that will last a long time. Continue reading
