Peugeot 2008 Update: The PureTech GT-Line

I reviewed the latest Peugeot 2008 last year, HERE. Then, it was a diesel-engine version in Allure trim. It was a fine modestly-sized SUV which I described as being an ideal small, economical family car. The 2008 is based on the 208 supermini but, although heavier, offers more versatility and space. This time I wanted to try the three-cylinder 1.2 PureTech petrol engine with a lively 130bhp and 230Nm of torque. Continue reading

Peugeot 2008 Adds The Urban Cross

Peugeot 2008 Urban CrossNot so long ago DriveWrite tested the excellent Peugeot 2008 (here). Apparently, the long-established French company have sold over a quarter of a million 2008’s, produced since its launch mid-year in 2013. Sales in the UK alone currently exceed 30,000 units. Following on from the success of this model, a new special edition is announced for 2015 – the 2008 Urban Cross. Continue reading
